Is it really free?
It is for now! We're just getting started - tweaking, refining and we'd love your feedback. We hope to launch the full iOS and Android apps soon and then we will start to apply a subscription. But, if you sign up now, you'll get exclusive access to a great 1st year discount.
Does TickBucks move real money?
No. TickBucks is a virtual tracker. It tracks 'virtual pocket money' based on chores completed. When your child wants to buy something, you fulfill the payout in real life using cash or your preferred payment method.
Is it secure for my children?
Absolutely. We use a unique 4-emoji PIN system that is easy for kids to remember but keeps their 'banking' private. Parents are authenticated via Clerk (industry-standard security) to ensure only you can manage chores and approvals.
What devices does it work on?
TickBucks is a PWA (Progressive Web App). It works in any modern browser but is best experienced when installed on an iPad or phone home screen for that native app feel.
Is there a limit on the number of kids?
Nope! Add as many children as you like. The interface will automatically adapt to show your whole family.
