A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site owner. "Similar technologies" means things like local storage and session storage that work in a comparable way.

We deliberately keep cookie usage to a minimum. We do not use any advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies.

• Essential — authentication. Our identity provider, Clerk, sets cookies that keep you signed in, prevent cross-site request forgery, and protect your account. Without these cookies, you cannot sign in or use the parent area of the app.
• Essential — application state.We use a small amount of browser storage to remember things like your child profiles' theme preferences and the current PIN session for the kid dashboard. This is set by TickBucks itself.

Essential cookies do not require consent under UK rules because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for.

We measure how the marketing site and app are used with Umami. Umami is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set any cookies and does not create persistent identifiers tied to individuals. It records aggregate events like pageviews and referrers without tracking you across other sites.

Because Umami does not use cookies and does not process personal data in a way that would require consent under UK PECR, we run it without a consent banner.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our essential cookies you will not be able to sign in.
